ALMOST ON TIME (BUT NOT QUITE)
Old faces, new faces — even some visiting all the way from Portugal! The crew pulled through for our second run on the summer route before we switch gears back to Mouille Point.
The posters might say 6:00, but you already know... true to name, we kicked off fashionably late. Wouldn't have it any other way. A little yap and networking never hurt anyone.
The chill's creeping in, and the sun’s clocking off earlier and earlier, a gentle reminder that winter’s stretching its arms. This week’s route served up a slice of humble pie: the legendary Biskop stairs on the way up, and the Clifton stairs on the way down. Let’s just say 300+ steps have a funny way of making even the fittest folks question their life choices.
As the cozy season rolls in, the real challenge begins, staying committed when the couch starts whispering sweet nothings. But that’s what Running Late Club is all about: showing up, even when the weather (and your duvet) says otherwise.
See you next run — slightly late, as always.
